My name is Ben Walker and I am a K-F Nut! K-F is Kaiser-Frazer, manufacturers of fine automobiles in Willow Run, Michigan, and other locations from 1946 to 1955. And Nut is nut--that is I am a fanatic enthusiast for all things Kaiser-Frazer. I am an active member of the Kaiser Frazer Owners Club, Int. and I served many years as the Editor of the club magazine and initiated in 1996 and maintained until July 2001 the official Website for the club. This site will concentrate for the most part on my interests in collecting all types of paper items for K-F--primarily sales literature. OK. Let's get started by going to the Contents Page. |
Sales literature consists of paper items that could be obtained by the general public either at the dealer's showroom or through, for example, promotional mailings. We may include some items used by sales personel and not normally distributed to the public. Condition is very important when you are buying/trading sales literature. Most, but not all, items can be found in very good to excellent condition. Lower quality items should have a substantial discount unless they are very rare. You should study the availability of items in order to make informed acquisitions. If you don't know literature, know your dealer! Each year model is divided into pages to keep file sizes around 150K or so for faster loading. Each item is assigned a number (in red) in form xxyy-zz, where xx is last two digits of model year, yy is the page number for the model year, and zz is the item number on the page. These numbers will be useful in referring to or asking questions about any item.
We will include in this category promotional pieces for non-factory accessories, items related to "famous" K-F personalities, or any other paper item that does not fit in another category.
